ProdRoads documentation
Your first roadmap
A roadmap starts with a date range, a few lines, and blocks that represent production work.
Create the file
Start from a new .pr file, then set the roadmap range.
The range defines the first and last visible day of the production timeline.
- Create a new roadmap file.
- Choose its date range.
- Add lines for the first production topics.
- Draw blocks directly on the timeline.
Where to find it
Add roadmap blocks
Click and drag on an empty roadmap cell to create a block.
Blocks snap to the timeline. They can be moved, resized, named, colored, assigned to teams, and connected with dependencies.
Keep it readable
Start with the structure your team already understands.
Topics can represent features, missions, levels, departments, milestones, production phases, or any planning unit that makes sense for your team.
Tip
Begin with a small, familiar part of the production. The roadmap structure can grow as the plan becomes clearer.
