Block basics
Roadmap blocks represent work across a period of time.
Click and drag across empty timeline cells to create a block. Drag the center of a block to move it, or drag either edge to adjust its start or end date. Every operation snaps to timeline cells.
Double-click a block to edit its text. In Per People, the editor can also update the associated topic name.
Changes made to dates, duration, text, teams, colors, links, and dependencies are reflected across every roadmap view.
- Drag across empty cells to create a block.

The example below creates a roadmap block, then moves, resizes, and edits it directly on the timeline.
Tip
Switch to the other roadmap view when you need to verify both the topic structure and the assignment.
