File format

ProdRoads uses two portable file types.

Project files

Project files are designed to carry the roadmap data needed to open and share a production plan.

Workspace files can contain teams, key dates, and developer lists that can be reused across projects.

Tip

Share a `.pr` file when someone needs the roadmap. Share a `.prw` file only when another Editor project needs the same workspace structure.
